" Hello, my name is Dr. Kywe Kywe So and I am the clinical research fellow and renal registrar at the University of Sheffield. This is the highlight of my ERA Congress for 2025.
So yesterdays highlight in the morning session I attended the acute kidney injury session. The main takeaway from the big session is that how we can do the grain nerve hemodialysis in patients with AKI and for renal replacement therapy especially in tested care units. Another session is we discuss about the feasibility of post AKI follow up in the community as well as in the inquest tutorial care in the ARENA clinic.
So for the afternoon session I attended the oncology nephrology discussion panel. One of the interesting session is the debate whether to kidney biopsy in fission with the MUC1 mediated AKI. The discussion was very comprehensive and there was greater involvement from the audience. We had an extensive debate whether to biopsy for people with a suspected AKI in this case and whether it is feasible for the people with the oncoming nephrology condition.
Later on I learned a lot more from the session regarding the TMA in the patient with the oncology class C chemotherapy induced TMA. I learned about the management and the investigation for those patients.”
